Gaudio is a company that designs, assembles, and produces state-of-the-art audio earphones and premium in-ear monitors, intended for both the most demanding audiophiles and music production professionals.
Every single component of our creations, from the acoustic parts to the mechanical ones, is designed in-house from scratch.
The Gaudio brand derives from the Latin word ‘gaudium’, which means enjoyment, happiness and delight.
Those words perfectly represent our vision and express what we aim to bring into people’s lives through our creations: the vital energy of music, in its purest form.
Nicola Gianotti is the founder of Gaudio.
He is a passionate audiophile and, therefore, extremely demanding.
At a certain point in his journey, he sought a reference, premium in-ear monitor.
Nicola then began to explore what was available on the market, discovering almost immediately – by attending online groups and forums – a widespread dissatisfaction with existing products.
This dissatisfaction soon became his own too: “I tried many in-ear monitors, but I always felt that something was missing: sometimes the sound was mediocre, other times the products lacked robustness and tended to break too easily.”
Thus, Nicola started entertaining the idea of opening his own company and decided to conduct a preliminary investigation in a more systematic way.
“I analyzed over thirty different in-ear monitor models from the premium segment to better understand the market, finding products that were always characterized by some kind of compromise: sometimes on the quality of the cable, sometimes on the sound, sometimes on the materials or poor construction, and sometimes on the acoustic matching between the left and right earphones. Other times, there was mediocre or completely absent after-sales support.”
This investigation marked the beginning of his journey—a daring path toward the design, starting from scratch, of an in-ear monitor capable of excelling in all the parameters examined.
The rest, as they say, is history.

Gaudio is nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, surrounded by mountains that have the power to awaken something ancestral in us.
Contemplating them disconnects us from the flow of everyday life, makes us forget the concept of time, and allows us to abandon ourselves to the ecstasy of an intimate and profound relationship with nature and everything that exists.
Furthermore, climbing a mountain offers the opportunity, once at the peak, to enjoy a unique perspective on our surroundings and the world.
We strongly believe these sensations should be conveyed to the listener through our earphones: they are designed for intense and engaging musical reproduction—clear and precise, like the panorama enjoyed from the peaks of our beloved mountains.
Our earphones are rigorously assembled by hand in our laboratories in Switzerland, with obsessive care that only an authentically artisanal attitude can guarantee.
We are, in fact, fervent supporters of the irreplaceability of the ‘human component’ in achieving absolute quality.
